Attention is one of the three Beacons of Everyday Enlightenment. This simply means that by learning and practicing Attention Skills you will reduce your suffering and increase your mental clarity. This is done in a number of ways, including:
- Learning to let go of thoughts and emotions ...
- that are distracting you from what you really want to be doing right now
- that are causing you real pain that's affecting your life
- Learning to spend more time in the present moment where true satisfaction is found.
- Noticing all the good things - and enjoying them more fully
- Noticing all the other things - and figuring it out
