each have negative counterparts called Shadows, which should be understood in how they contrast with the goals of [[{{{Beacon}}}]].  The first kind of Shadows are the Looming Shadows, which are the obvious opposite of a given Lense, and should be easy to avoid and train against. For example, the Lense of [[{{{Beacon}}}#{{{Lense}}}|{{{Lense}}}]] has the Looming Shadow of ''{{{Looming}}}''. The second kind are the Flickering Shadows, which could be confused with the associated Lenses, because they are quite similar to the Lense, while actually being a harmful or negative counterpart.  For example, the Lense of [[{{{Beacon}}}#{{{Lense}}}|{{{Lense}}}]] has the Flickering Shadow of ''{{{Flickering}}}''.

The Milestones of Everyday Enlightenment each have some noticeable Landmarks which show the likely alignment someone within that Milestone has with each of the Beacons. These Landmarks are things that need to be noticed and explored.

And then through working on the Trails, Guides and Skills these Landmarks will serve as markers toward the next Milestone where new Landmarks await.
